We Love Southern Rock...

For 15 years, Diamondback is the only band in Western New York carrying the flag for Southern Rock! This hard rocking quintet covers the music of Lynyrd Skynyrd, Molly Hatchet, Allman Brothers and much more.

Diamondback has opened for Lynyrd Skynyrd and been featured at major festivals such as Jam in The Valley(6 years running). We are more than ready to rock your event and have the folks partying for hours on end.

Since 2010, Diamondback has been Artimus' band on his visits to WNY. Artimus Pyle was Skynyrd's drummer from 1974-1991)and a 2006 inductee of the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame. What an honor to work with him!

Introducing our newest member: Reverend Tom Henry

Preaching the Gospel of Southern Rock. Rhythm, lead, acoustic guitars, backing vocals. "Often late but never arrested."

The band features the bluesy guitar work of Chris Hunt who meshes well with the venerable Reverend Tom Henry, extraordinary players with two distinct styles. The rhythm section has heavy hitter Tom Kraebel on drums and Joe Switniewski on bass. Lead vocalist Tim Striegel, whose style has been compared to the late Ronnie Van Zant and Danny Joe Brown, fronts the band. Guest appearances by the passionate vocalist Suzanne (she will fire you up!) Hunt and Harmonica virtuoso Doug Koithan.

Diamondback has been nominated by Nightlife Magazine as Buffalo's Best Rock Band for the past two years. We thank all of our friends and fans for making these shows so much fun!
